BIM / Revit Technician – Leeds

About the role

We are seeking a skilled BIM / Revit Technician to join our Leeds team. The role involves producing detailed technical drawings, coordinating BIM data, and supporting MEP services within a collaborative BIM environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create 2D AutoCAD and 3D Revit technical drawings.
• Coordinate BIM project data sets, workflows and project set‑up on a daily basis.
• Manage MEP service coordination within a federated BIM model.
• Follow best‑practice BIM workflows and communicate changes with the Central BIM Group.
• Review and lead clash detection reports using Navisworks, working with project teams and contractors.
• Maintain and source BIM content, providing technical support for BIM software.
• Apply ISO 19650 and project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) requirements.
• Support sustainability initiatives and contribute to knowledge sharing across the business.
• Adhere to the company’s Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) policies and promote a positive safety culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Autodesk Revit on design or construction projects.
• Major project BIM experience, particularly in MEP engineering.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to quality, accuracy and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit (MEP) – advanced proficiency.
• Autodesk Navisworks – clash detection and reporting.
• Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM360.
• AutoCAD 2D/3D.
• Dynamo for Revit (script reading/writing) – preferred.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven workflow efficiencies – preferred.
