BIM Technician – Construction & Engineering

About the role

Galldris Group is seeking a BIM Technician to join its Head Office team in Enfield. You will support tender and construction phases by creating and managing high‑quality BIM models, ensuring compliance with UK BIM standards, and facilitating digital construction workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Utilise BIM tools to produce construction sequencing, logistics presentations, and clash detection.
• Develop and maintain accurate BIM models in line with company standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate BIM processes across all disciplines.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 19650 and other UK BIM standards.
• Support BIM data management and enhance digital construction capabilities.
• Provide training and guidance on BIM processes to junior team members when required.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience using BIM software within the construction industry.
• Background in civil or structural engineering.
• Relevant BIM‑related qualification, certification, or training.
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Eligibility to work legally in the United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit.
• Experience with MicroStation.
• Skilled in SketchUp.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with 4D planning tools such as Asta BIM or Synchro Pro.
