Bookkeeper - Music and Entertainment

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Bookkeeper to join a leading business management and accounting firm serving clients in the music, entertainment and creative sectors. Based in central London’s West End, you will work alongside experienced accountants, handling a diverse portfolio of entrepreneurs, fast‑growing businesses and high‑net‑worth individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and process sales invoices.
• Allocate receipts and maintain sales ledger records.
• Process supplier invoices and manage payment runs.
• Maintain purchase ledger accuracy.
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash positions.
• Process and reconcile company credit cards.
• Manage petty cash and expense claims.
• Reconcile inter‑company accounts.
• Perform month‑end balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support VAT return preparation.
• Assist with management accounts and year‑end accounts preparation.
• Gather personal and corporate tax information.
• Maintain accurate electronic financial records and documentation.

Required profile

• Organised and proactive bookkeeping professional.
• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper or Finance Assistant.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Professional, client‑focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
