Bookkeeping Manager – High‑Profile Clients in London

About the role

This niche accountancy firm in Central London is seeking a Bookkeeping Manager (or Senior Bookkeeper/Business Services Manager) to deliver first‑class bookkeeping and VAT services to high‑profile clients across music, sport, film, TV, creative and media sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal portfolio of individual and corporate clients, ensuring high‑quality service.
• Prepare and process all bookkeeping assignments for clients.
• Complete and submit client VAT returns accurately and on time.
• Process payrolls end‑to‑end where required.
• Potentially train, review and mentor junior staff members as the team grows.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years bookkeeping and VAT return experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of VAT regulations and bookkeeping standards.
• Motivation to continue a bookkeeping/VAT career in a specialist firm located in Zone 1 Central London.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
• Experience processing payrolls (desirable).
