Bookkeeping Manager – Music, Sport, Film & TV Clients

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Bookkeeping Manager to join a niche accountancy firm in Central London. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality bookkeeping and VAT services to high‑profile clients in the music, sport, film, TV, creative, media and entertainment sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of individual and corporate clients, ensuring exceptional service.
• Prepare bookkeeping assignments and process VAT returns for all clients.
• Streamline and automate processes to improve efficiency, leveraging Xero and AI tools.
• Process payrolls where applicable.
• Potentially train, mentor and review the work of junior staff in the future.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping and VAT experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments.
• Experience with Xero and related apps.
• Desire to work in a fast‑moving, niche firm located in Zone 1 Central London.
