Bricklaying Apprentice

About the role

Bloor Homes is seeking a motivated Bricklaying Apprentice to join our Southern Region team. You will be based on the Bloor on the Green development in Basingstoke, with occasional travel to the Deepcut site, and will receive high‑quality training and support to achieve essential qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist qualified bricklayers on residential construction sites.
• Prepare and lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units according to plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following health and safety guidelines.
• Record training progress and attend mandatory apprenticeship courses.
• Collaborate with labourers, site managers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Strong motivation to learn a trade and develop a career in construction.
• Reliable attendance at approved training courses.
• Willingness to work on‑site and travel between locations as needed.
• Good work ethic and ability to follow instructions.

Required skills

• Basic bricklaying or masonry aptitude.
