Senior Architectural Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join our East Midlands Regional Office in Hinckley, Leicestershire. You will lead design, technical and planning input across the full lifecycle of site development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with land bids and strategic land processes early, providing design, technical and planning input.
• Manage all stages of site development from inception through to completion and beyond.
• Produce and amend site layouts, house‑type planning drawings and other design documentation.
• Liaise with planning authorities and project stakeholders on planning matters.
• Prepare, submit and manage planning applications, including outline, full and reserved matters, and ensure discharge of planning conditions.
• Coordinate production of construction information and manage building regulations applications.
• Issue construction information to sites and oversee on‑site project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, ready for senior‑level responsibilities.
• Strong background in land bidding, strategic land processes and site development.
• Experience liaising with planning authorities and handling planning applications.
• Ability to coordinate construction information and manage building regulations submissions.
• Demonstrated capability to manage projects on site.
