Business Development Executive

About the role

Illuminate BD is a London‑based consultancy that helps creative agencies grow through outbound lead generation. We are seeking a motivated Graduate Business Development Executive to work directly with the founder, gaining hands‑on experience in sales, outreach and client delivery within the creative and marketing sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Research target companies, sectors and decision‑makers across creative and marketing industries.
• Support outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone, including writing messages and building prospect lists.
• Assist the founder with prospecting strategy, campaign delivery and meeting booking.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and track outreach activity.
• Report on campaign performance and stay informed of industry trends.

Required profile

• Graduate or early‑career candidate eager to start a career in business development, sales or marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence speaking to senior contacts.
• Highly organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive, resilient and open to feedback.
• Interest in the creative, marketing or agency world.
