Business Development Manager – Oxford – £41k‑£53k OTE

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our Field Sales team in Oxford. You will drive growth for Yell’s digital marketing solutions, building relationships with local businesses across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new clients using self‑sourced and company leads.
• Conduct face‑to‑face or virtual consultations to understand customer needs and propose tailored digital marketing solutions.
• Present, negotiate and close deals, managing the sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.
• Maintain client relationships for up to 12 months post‑sale, ensuring a smooth handover and ongoing satisfaction.
• Analyse performance data to identify upsell opportunities and improve client ROI.

Required profile

• Proven track record in field sales or high‑performing telesales.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Resilient, positive attitude and ability to overcome objections.
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.

Required skills

• Solution‑selling experience (SaaS experience desirable).
