Business Services Assistant Manager – ACA/ACCA Qualified

About the role

This permanent position is with a leading London chartered accountancy firm seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified Business Services Assistant Manager. You will prepare and review accounts for a diverse portfolio of owner‑managed businesses and entrepreneurial families, working on complex structures such as trusts, partnerships and landed estates while maintaining direct client contact.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory and management accounts across a complex client portfolio.
• Manage client relationships directly and support partners in service delivery.
• Liaise with internal specialist teams to ensure coordinated and timely delivery.
• Contribute to advisory assignments and broader business development activities.
• Support and develop junior team members.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with a broad accounts background gained in practice.
• Minimum four years' experience within a UK practice environment.
• Experience managing a varied portfolio across different client structures and sizes.
• Strong technical knowledge of FRS102 and FRS105, with trust structures an advantage.
• Confident, self‑motivated and commercially minded with the ability to engage at all levels.
