Business Studies Teacher (QTS) – Secondary Schools

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified Business Studies teachers to deliver curriculum across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 in secondary schools throughout the Midlands. The role may also involve teaching Economics or vocational business qualifications, depending on the school's needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons that develop students' understanding of business, finance, enterprise and the wider economy.
- Inspire pupils to build commercial awareness, analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Prepare students for further education and future careers through targeted assessment and feedback.
- Adapt teaching approaches for KS4 and KS5, and potentially cover Economics or vocational business modules.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience teaching Business Studies in UK secondary schools.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and classroom management abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
