Business Studies Teacher (Qualified Teacher Status)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified Business Studies teachers for secondary schools and academies across the Midlands. Positions include daily supply, long‑term placements and permanent roles, covering Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 curricula.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons for KS4 and KS5 students.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with school staff to support the wider curriculum, including Economics, Enterprise or vocational Business qualifications where required.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding standards.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Proven experience teaching Business Studies in a secondary setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
