Care Assistant – Day Shifts (Full‑Time)

About the role

Join the dedicated team at Nightingale Nursing & Care Home in Edwinstowe as a Care Assistant working day shifts. You will support residents with personal care and daily activities while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and feeding.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and encourage choice.
• Complete daily care charts to a high standard and meet audit targets.
• Maintain 100% compliance with mandatory training throughout the year.
• Support the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents.

Required profile

• Clear motivation for a care role and/or relevant experience.
• Residence within 20 minutes of the care home.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Caring, nurturing attitude with a positive mindset.
