Class 2 Driver (HIAB) – Building Supplies Delivery

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Class 2 driver to join a leading builders merchant, delivering building and construction supplies across South East London. The role involves operating a HIAB‑equipped HGV to make multi‑drop deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily deliveries of building materials, timber, roofing, and related products to a variety of customer sites.
• Operate the HIAB crane safely to load and unload goods.
• Plan routes efficiently to cover the designated delivery area.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, serviced, and compliant with safety regulations.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (HGV) licence.
• Experience with multi‑drop deliveries in the local area is preferred.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional appearance.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• HIAB operation (training can be provided if needed).
