Clinical Buyer – Procurement Specialist (Non‑Clinical)

About the role

The Clinical Buyer will join the dynamic procurement team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, supporting the purchase of non‑clinical goods and services across all Trust locations. This permanent, full‑time position plays a key part in delivering a strategic procurement transformation and ensuring value for money.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on procurement and supply matters while ensuring compliance with NHS and public sector regulations.
• Source and purchase non‑clinical goods and services, maintaining detailed knowledge of existing suppliers and identifying alternative options.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise procurement processes, drive efficiencies and support innovation.
• Support the delivery of the Trust’s strategic procurement transformation programme.

Required profile

• Experienced public procurement professional with a strong understanding of NHS procurement frameworks.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced NHS environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
