CNC Applications Engineer

About the role

This field‑based Applications Engineer role supports a market‑leading machine tool business across the UK and Ireland. You will train customers on CNC machine operation and programming, assist with installations, and provide on‑site technical support while travelling regularly.

Key responsibilities

• Train customers on CNC machine operation and programming
• Support installations and customer projects
• Provide technical application support across the UK & Ireland
• Work with 5‑axis and multi‑tasking machines
• Travel regularly and work away from base during the week

Required profile

• Essential experience with Fanuc and Siemens programming
• 5‑axis machining or mill/turn experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Knowledge of Heidenhain and Fusion 360 is beneficial
• Time‑served engineer preferred
