Commercial Gas Supervisor – up to £62,500 + vehicle

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Gas Engineer/Supervisor to join a leading HVAC subcontractor in North and West London and Hertfordshire. This permanent, full‑time position offers a clear career path and fast‑track progression into management, with a competitive salary and a fully equipped vehicle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Director with combustion servicing and remedial works across London and the Northern Home Counties.
• Maintain, repair and install commercial gas boilers in large residential blocks, offices and schools.
• Carry out routine mechanical maintenance of pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels and valves.
• Service combustion appliances, produce quotations, conditional and dilapidation reports.
• Ensure all work complies with combustion regulations and company policies.
• Participate in the regional on‑call rota.

Required profile

• Commercial Gas qualifications (CPA1, BMP1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, DAH1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, CDGA1, CORT1, CIGA1).
• Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude.
• Experience working in a mobile workforce and dealing with customers and suppliers.
• Health and safety awareness and a customer‑focused ‘can‑do’ mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of heating distribution and ventilation systems.
• Competence in plant‑room work and mechanical components (pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, valves).
• Expertise in combustion appliance servicing and compliance reporting.
