Commercial Property Claims Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Remote/Home‑based Commercial Property Claims Technician to join our Manchester‑based team. The role involves managing a portfolio of commercial material damage and business interruption claims from initial assessment through to settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and process commercial property loss reports, ensuring accurate documentation of each site visit.
• Maintain a detailed diary and manage a caseload in line with client service level agreements.
• Prepare comprehensive written reports and settlement recommendations for insurers.
• Liaise with insurers, policyholders, contractors and other stakeholders to facilitate claim resolution.
• Meet audit criteria and adhere to internal quality standards throughout the claims lifecycle.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial property claims handling or a related insurance environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent written communication for report preparation.
• Proactive attitude towards meeting deadlines and service standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in claim reporting and documentation.
