Construction Site Manager – Commercial Fit Out

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects across the South West of England. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities for commercial fit‑out and refurbishment works.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on‑site labour.
• Maintain programme performance, productivity, and site logistics.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations.
• Conduct site meetings, progress reviews, and coordination workshops.
• Monitor project progress and report to senior management.
• Support client relationships and uphold a professional site presence.
• Drive snag‑free delivery and successful handovers.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Site Manager in commercial fit‑out or refurbishment.
• Proven track record delivering projects in office, education, healthcare, retail or mixed‑use sectors.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and site management processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades in fast‑paced environments.

• CSCS card
• First Aid qualification
