Consulting Director

About the role

STL Partners is seeking a Consulting Director to lead and expand its telecoms and digital infrastructure practice. You will combine business development, project leadership, and firm‑building responsibilities while working with global telcos, data‑centre operators, and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the full project lifecycle: prospecting, proposal creation, execution, and delivery of final outputs.
• Manage 4‑7 concurrent projects, leading teams of 3‑5 consultants.
• Generate new business and grow existing accounts in partnership with senior colleagues and account managers.
• Mentor senior and junior consultants, overseeing performance reviews and talent development.
• Identify and implement internal policy improvements and strategic initiatives, presenting proposals to the board.

Required profile

• 8+ years of consulting experience focused on telecoms and digital infrastructure for companies or investors.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale strategy, transformation, market‑entry, or commercial due‑diligence projects.
• Demonstrated sales success in winning new clients and expanding existing relationships.
