Contact Centre Team Leader – Hybrid (Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contact Centre Team Leader to join a well‑established, customer‑focused business in Manchester. The role is hybrid and offers a competitive salary up to £35,000 plus OTE, with a strong emphasis on developing outbound sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate a team of advisors to meet sales, retention and customer service targets.
• Drive a stronger outbound sales culture by building confidence and engagement across the team.
• Support advisors with consultative selling techniques and maximise every customer opportunity.
• Monitor individual and team performance through regular 1‑2‑1s and data‑driven coaching.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Deliver targeted outbound campaigns effectively.
• Handle escalated customer issues when required.
• Collaborate with training, quality and operational teams to continuously improve performance.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Team Leader or manager in a contact centre environment.
• Hands‑on outbound sales experience, preferably B2C.
• Proven ability to coach and develop staff to improve sales performance.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Commercially minded with a focus on performance improvement rather than direct selling.
• Confidence in analysing performance data and identifying opportunities.
• Resilient, organised and able to positively influence others.
