About the role

Join a dynamic team delivering essential contingency housing services across the North West of England. As a Contingency Housing Officer Supervisor you will lead a group of housing officers, ensuring programmes run smoothly and vulnerable individuals receive timely support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of housing officers, providing guidance to maintain high‑quality service delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, community organisations and other stakeholders.
• Monitor officer performance, enforce policy compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Respond to housing emergencies and help develop contingency plans for vulnerable populations.
• Maintain accurate records and produce reports on programme progress and outcomes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housing services or a related public‑service field.
• Proven leadership ability with strong motivational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach, especially in crisis situations.
