Senior Surveyor

About the role

MAPP is seeking a Senior Surveyor to take full ownership of a portfolio of commercial properties in London. You will be the primary point of contact for clients and occupiers, ensuring service delivery, compliance and financial performance meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of assigned properties, including service charge administration, occupier liaison and compliance monitoring.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc reports for clients, covering financial performance, service delivery and regulatory matters.
• Support the preparation of service charge budgets, analyse expenditure and ensure budgetary control in line with RICS guidance.
• Conduct regular property inspections, audit site teams, and ensure adherence to lease obligations and statutory requirements.
• Lead onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including TUPE coordination and handover to external parties.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in commercial property surveying or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of lease documentation, statutory compliance and RICS/ISO standards.
• Proactive, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail and client‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners and occupiers.
