Contract Support Officer – Commercial Assurance

About the role
The Contract Support Officer will join the Commercial Assurance service supporting Project and Contract Management teams across England. You will help ensure contracts are processed accurately, payments are made on time, and suppliers receive the correct amounts.
Key responsibilities
- Upload contracts and maintain contract records using agreed tools.
- Raise purchase orders and process payment requests.
- Investigate and resolve anomalies to meet supplier payment timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Commercial Service Managers.
- Participate in mandatory training and incident response duties as required.
Required profile
- GCSE English and Maths (essential).
- Confidence using MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience in financial administration, such as processing invoices and purchase orders.
- Ability to interpret numerical data, spot issues and propose solutions.
- Positive attitude, teamwork orientation and pride in delivering quality work.
