Corporate Finance Director – Manchester

About the role

Pro‑Finance, a respected mid‑tier accountancy and advisory firm in Manchester, is seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Director. You will play a pivotal role in originating and delivering corporate finance transactions for owner‑managed businesses, entrepreneurs and private‑equity backed clients across the North West.

Key responsibilities

• Originate new corporate finance opportunities through networking, relationship building and business development.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, banks, private‑equity houses, legal advisers and other professional introducers.
• Lead and manage corporate finance transactions from initial engagement to successful completion.
• Advise clients on strategic growth, acquisitions, disposals, valuations and capital raising.
• Prepare and present high‑quality proposals, pitches and presentations to prospective clients.
• Support the development and execution of the firm’s corporate finance growth strategy.
• Lead, mentor and develop junior team members.
• Collaborate with partners across tax, audit and business advisory to identify cross‑referral opportunities.
• Represent the firm at networking events, seminars and within the wider business community.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant corporate finance experience within an accountancy practice or advisory firm.
• Proven track record of originating, winning and delivering corporate finance mandates.
• Strong technical expertise across M&A, disposals, acquisitions, fundraising and valuation.
• Commercially minded with excellent relationship‑building skills.
• Established Corporate Finance Director or ambitious Associate Director ready for a director‑level role.
• Confident leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for business development and client service.
