Corporate Tax Senior Manager – Advisory

About the role

This senior appointment sits within a growing accountancy and business advisory firm, leading the corporate tax advisory team. You will work on a broad range of transactions, restructurings and strategic tax projects for entrepreneurial businesses, private equity‑backed organisations and management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, disposals and other corporate transactions.
• Provide tax support for private equity investments, management buy‑outs, exits and ownership changes.
• Conduct and review tax due diligence, highlighting risks and commercial opportunities.
• Advise on transaction structures in collaboration with finance, legal and funding advisers.
• Design and implement EMI share schemes and other employee equity arrangements.
• Support business restructures, group reorganisations and corporate simplification projects.
• Assist refinancing exercises, debt restructures and changes to group funding arrangements.
• Prepare technical tax advice, reports, clearance applications and related documentation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in corporate tax advisory.
• Proven ability to lead complex tax projects from scoping to implementation.
• Experience advising private equity‑backed companies and handling M&A tax matters.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate tax legislation into practical recommendations.
