Court of Protection Lawyer – £45,000 to £55,000

About the role

We are seeking a Court of Protection Lawyer to join our growing team in Cambridge. You will work within a Legal 500‑recognised firm, providing specialist advice to clients with serious injuries arising from personal injury and clinical negligence.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients on Court of Protection matters.
• Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury and clinical negligence cases.
• Draft orders, applications and other legal documents.
• Liaise with clients, families and other professionals sensitively and empathetically.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high‑quality client service.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year post‑qualification experience (PQE) as a Court of Protection solicitor or legal executive.
• Strong empathy and sensitivity when dealing with vulnerable clients.
• Flexible, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Team‑oriented mindset and ability to work closely with colleagues.
