Customer Experience Advisor – Retail Banking (Shipley)

About the role

Join Santander’s Shipley branch as a Customer Experience Advisor, providing friendly, knowledgeable service to customers in‑branch and over the phone. You will be the first point of contact, helping with everyday banking transactions, answering queries, and protecting customers from fraud.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers in the branch and via the contact centre.
• Assist with day‑to‑day transactions, cash handling, and technology use in the banking hall.
• Answer customer calls, resolve queries, and provide accurate information about products and services.
• Build relationships, identify customer needs, and propose appropriate solutions.
• Continuously develop knowledge of Santander’s services and products.
• Identify and suggest improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.

Required profile

• Flexible and comfortable working a varied, multi‑skilled role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Team‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Ability to work on a rota basis, Monday to Saturday, between 8 am and 6 pm.
