Customer Service Consultant – Grade B – Financial Support (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

As a Financial Paramedic within our award‑winning Financial Support telephone‑based team you will help mortgage customers regain financial health. You will listen carefully, build relationships and create a detailed picture of each unique situation to provide the right support.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose customers' financial difficulties and tailor treatments to restore financial health.
• Handle a variety of telephony‑based customer service activities while meeting process, procedure and regulatory standards.
• Support customers with all banking queries, helping them stay in their homes now and in the future.
• Build strong relationships with customers, continuously seeking to improve service for each individual.

Required profile

• Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential; strong understanding of budgeting and household bills is required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to empathise with customers.
• Multi‑skilled and able to perform a range of telephone‑based service tasks.
