Customer Service Representative – Hybrid (Manchester)

About the role

Join the Customer Service team at The Pilot Group in Manchester, working alongside Account Managers to support sales and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers. You will act as the primary point of contact, handling order processing and providing professional sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison for customers and suppliers, answering queries and managing expectations.
• Take ownership of the sales process from order receipt to administrative completion.
• Coordinate with internal warehouse, vendors and Account Managers to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Book orders in and out of the warehouse system and monitor order status.
• Provide general administrative support for Account Managers, including price‑list updates, quote preparation and diary management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and telephone.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and data manipulation.
