Customs Coordinator – UK & Mainland

About the role

We are looking for a Customs Coordinator to manage customs operations for the United Kingdom and Mainland Europe within our EMEA Customs organization. The role serves as the primary UK customs representative, ensuring compliance with legislation, supporting the customs control tower, and driving continuous improvement across trade flows.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the official UK customs representative and primary contact with UK customs authorities and border agencies.
• Ensure compliance with UK customs legislation, post‑Brexit requirements and the UK‑EU Trade & Cooperation Agreement.
• Support the management of UK customs registrations, authorisations and regulatory communications.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement operational adjustments.
• Assist the EMEA Customs Control Tower with daily operations for UK and Mainland trades, tracking milestones, risks and performance KPIs.
• Maintain accurate, complete and audit‑ready customs records and documentation.
• Perform regular internal customs audits, identify gaps and support corrective action plans.
• Prepare for external audits, authority controls or inspections as required.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in customs operations or related supply‑chain roles.
• Strong knowledge of UK customs legislation, post‑Brexit requirements and the EU Trade & Cooperation Agreement.
• Experience with customs documentation, registrations and audit processes.
• Ability to monitor regulatory changes and implement operational updates.
• Analytical mindset for KPI monitoring, risk identification and root‑cause analysis.
