Data Engineer (Hybrid, London) – up to £100k + bonus

About the role

We are partnering with an innovative fintech company that builds AI‑powered solutions for private markets. As a Data Engineer you will sit at the intersection of data engineering, artificial intelligence and product development, helping to design and scale the data infrastructure that powers next‑generation AI applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop and scale data infrastructure on Azure Cloud to support AI‑driven products.
• Implement LLM‑powered capabilities and work with vector databases for generative AI use‑cases.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product and leadership teams to deliver intelligent applications.
• Ensure data quality and availability for business‑critical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Python, SQL and ETL pipeline development.
• Practical knowledge of large language models, generative AI and vector databases.
• Experience working with Azure Cloud services.
• Familiarity with Typescript and React for data‑related front‑end components.
• Active use of AI tools and technologies in day‑to‑day workflows.
• Ability to work on‑site three days a week in Central London.
