Data Entry Clerk – Fixed Term (Aug‑Nov)

About the role

The Leeds Student Medical Practice is seeking two Data Entry Clerks on a fixed‑term basis from August to November. The role is full‑time (37 hours per week) and based on‑site, supporting the practice’s administration team with patient data management.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and update patient information in the practice database.
• Register new patients and maintain accurate records.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as handling inbound enquiries and supporting day‑to‑day operations.
• Ensure data quality and confidentiality in line with NHS standards.

Required profile

• Available to start from 10 August 2026 for a three‑month contract.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work flexibly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills; prior GP or primary‑care experience is not essential.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data entry and basic computer use.
