About the role

Join the Chief Data Analytics Office at Barclays as a Data Modeller. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality logical data models across corporate banking data domains, supporting both delivery and governance objectives in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models that meet business and technology requirements.
• Analyse and document business requirements and translate them into data models aligned with organisational goals.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and glossaries to define data elements and their usage.
• Monitor data usage patterns, identify optimisation opportunities and work with the Database Administrator on improvements.
• Define strategic architecture, select appropriate data products and produce logical designs for technical, data and operational subjects.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating logical data models for assigned domains, including entities, attributes, relationships and definitions.
• Understanding of critical data elements and data usage within a complex corporate banking or regulated environment.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with data architects, engineers, analysts and business stakeholders.
• High attention to detail to ensure models are accurate, consistent and aligned with standards.
