Deals Tax Senior Manager – Funds & M&A Advisory

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Deals Tax Senior Manager to join a leading advisory team focused on funds, private equity and real‑estate transactions. You will work on high‑value deals ranging from £10m to over £10bn, providing tax advice across the full deal lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners and Directors on complex M&A transactions, delivering high‑quality tax advice.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals, pitches and new client opportunities.
• Act as a primary contact for clients, legal advisers and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Prepare and oversee detailed technical advice on UK and international tax matters.
• Analyse tax‑related documents and data, highlighting key issues and commercial impacts.
• Work closely with UK and overseas tax specialists, challenging and refining their input.
• Stay current on UK and OECD tax developments and incorporate them into client solutions.
• Contribute to Deal Advisory Tax thought‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified CTA, ACA, CA or equivalent professional tax qualification.
• Strong interest in transaction work and a proactive, ambitious mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Required skills

• In‑depth UK corporate tax knowledge.
• Understanding of international tax frameworks and OECD developments.
• Analytical mindset with a commercial approach to problem‑solving.
