Delivery Postie with Driving – London (30 hrs/week)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Delivery Postie with Driving, working 30 hours per week across a flexible schedule in London. You will be the friendly face that brings mail, parcels and important documents to homes and businesses, rain or shine.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver letters, parcels and special items to assigned addresses within the delivery area.
• Follow a set route and adhere to delivery windows, including occasional Sunday shifts on a rota basis.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collect signatures where required.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, safe and road‑worthy throughout the shift.
• Represent Royal Mail positively, providing excellent customer service to the community.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to high‑quality service.
• Enjoy walking for long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Required skills

• Full UK manual driving licence (≤6 penalty points).
