Design & Technology Supply Teacher (Rochdale & Oldham)

About the role

Design & Technology supply teachers are needed for short‑ and long‑term placements in secondary schools across Oldham and Rochdale from September 2026. The role is ideal for qualified DT teachers who enjoy hands‑on teaching of CAD/CAM, resistant materials, product design and engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Design & Technology lessons (e.g., CAD/CAM, resistant materials, product design, engineering) on a supply basis in secondary schools.
• Work across schools in Oldham and Rochdale, covering short‑term and long‑term placements from September 2026.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS disclosure (support available).
• Overseas Police Clearance if applicable.
• Full CV with education and employment history.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
• Experience with resistant materials and product design.
• Knowledge of engineering principles relevant to secondary education.
