Design & Technology Teacher – East Birmingham

About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of several secondary schools in East Birmingham for full‑time Design & Technology teachers. The positions start in September and are intended to be long‑term, offering the chance to shape the DT curriculum for a diverse student body.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging Design & Technology lessons across the secondary curriculum.
- Maintain a safe and well‑equipped workshop environment.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and fellow staff to develop cross‑curricular projects.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to develop practical and creative skills.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level, either as an experienced teacher or a strong early‑career teacher (ECT).
- Excellent classroom management and the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
Required skills
- None specified beyond the teaching qualifications and experience.
