DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a UK‑based conservation charity to build innovative solutions for environmental challenges. As a DevOps Engineer you will help design, maintain and improve the infrastructure that powers a diverse portfolio of web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and evolve infrastructure for multiple web applications.
• Work hands‑on with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and on‑premise environments.
• Own reliable and secure production environments.
• Support deployments through well‑designed CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Ensure effective monitoring and handle incident response.
• Manage databases, backups and disaster‑recovery processes.

Required profile

• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of containerisation technologies.
• Ability to collaborate with developers to improve delivery and operations.
