Director / Associate Director – Building Surveying

About the role

This senior leadership position will head the Building Surveying service line for a well‑established UK property consultancy. Reporting to senior partners, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality technical services, driving business growth and shaping the strategic direction of the division.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and expand the Building Surveying practice across commercial property sectors.
• Mentor, develop and manage a team of Building Surveyors, setting performance targets and fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and growth initiatives of the surveying division.
• Collaborate with other service lines to provide integrated client solutions.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with investors, developers and occupiers.
• Represent the firm at industry events and client meetings.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in building surveying within commercial real estate.
• Strong track record of business development and client relationship management.
• Deep understanding of commercial property markets, including industrial, office, retail and residential development.
• Ability to influence strategic direction and drive profitable growth.
