Disrepair Surveyor (Social Housing)

About the role
The role involves carrying out joint inspections of social housing properties and producing detailed Scott schedules. It is a new position within a Manchester‑based social housing organisation and operates outside IR35.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct joint property inspections to assess disrepair issues.
- Prepare accurate Scott schedules documenting findings.
- Ensure compliance with Awaab's Law and related housing quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to address identified defects.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a similar surveying or property inspection role.
- Good understanding of Awaab's Law and social housing quality regulations.
- Ability to work independently and produce clear, detailed reports.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Awaab's Law standards.
- Experience producing Scott schedules.
