Electronic Engineer – Remote First

About the role

We are recruiting for an innovative technology business developing cutting‑edge industrial sensing solutions. The Electronic Engineer will join a growing R&D team to design the next generation of intelligent sensor technology, working across the full product development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design analogue and digital circuits and develop PCB layouts.
• Perform circuit simulation and design for manufacture.
• Develop embedded firmware in C, including DSP and microcontroller programming.
• Conduct testing, validation and EMC compliance of prototypes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment.
• Attend fortnightly on‑site meetings at the Birmingham office.

Required profile

• Commercial experience in analogue and digital electronics.
• Proficiency in PCB design and layout tools such as Altium or KiCad.
• Strong skills in circuit design, simulation and embedded C programming.
• Understanding of design for manufacture and EMC considerations.
• Ability to work autonomously with a collaborative mindset.
