Employee Benefits Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Employee Benefits Consultant to join our fast‑growing team. You will manage a portfolio of SME group risk clients, providing expert advice, ensuring smooth policy administration, and driving retention and growth through proactive service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of micro‑ and small‑business group risk clients, handling all aspects of policy administration.
• Contact clients at renewal points and regular intervals to maintain relationships and ensure policy continuity.
• Achieve high retention rates and meet renewal income targets.
• Identify and pursue upsell opportunities to expand income from existing clients.
• Generate new group risk business through referral channels and cross‑sell to other business lines.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and compliance with business standards.
• Provide transparent reporting of renewal income and new business figures.
• Stay up‑to‑date with group risk knowledge through CPD and training.

Required profile

• Proven experience in group risk broking or advisory, with a solid understanding of group risk products.
• Track record of managing and maintaining a portfolio of group risk clients.
• Ability to deliver excellent client service and meet retention targets.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience in upselling and generating new business.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with insurers.
