Escalator Engineer – Talent Pool (Scotland)

About the role

KONE is building a talent pool of qualified Escalator Engineers to support its operations across Scotland. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of escalator projects, from installation to maintenance, ensuring safe and reliable service for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on escalators at client sites.
• Respond to service calls and emergency call‑outs promptly.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and KONE standards.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Escalator Engineering.
• Proven experience working with escalators.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety practices.
