About the role

Pearson is looking for qualified teachers to serve as examiners for the GCSE French (2024 Specification). Working fully remotely, you will mark candidate scripts using the ePEN platform, applying the official mark scheme and ensuring consistency across all papers.

Key responsibilities

Mark scripts accurately and consistently to maintain overall standards.
Submit sample scripts to your Team Leader at designated times.
Adhere to marking milestones and deadlines.
Complete all required administrative tasks as specified.

Required profile

At least one academic year of recent teaching experience (within the last 8 years) in the relevant subject.
Qualified teacher status and a degree or equivalent qualification.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme correctly.

Required skills

What we offer

Fully remote work from home.
Training on the marking process between May and June.
Marking period runs from May to July.
