Exams Invigilator – Part‑time (Morden, SE England)

About the role

Reed Further Education is seeking reliable exam invigilators to support learners in a variety of educational settings. This part‑time, ad‑hoc position involves ensuring examinations run smoothly and fairly, while providing a calm environment for students.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and observe students throughout the examination period.
• Set up examination rooms, arrange seating and ensure all required materials are available.
• Distribute papers, answer sheets and any additional resources.
• Maintain exam conditions in line with regulatory standards.
• Report any irregularities or issues to the exams officer promptly.

Required profile

• GCSE‑level Maths and English (or equivalent qualification).
• Understanding of how examinations are conducted.
• Ability to communicate clearly with pupils and staff.
• Willingness to obtain or hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

Required skills

• Clear verbal communication.
• Attention to detail when following exam procedures.
