Experienced Glazier – Reactive Maintenance (London & West London)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Glazier to join a well‑established reactive maintenance team. You will carry out repairs and maintenance on occupied social housing properties across Barnet and the wider North West and West London area.

Key responsibilities

• Perform glazing repairs and maintenance in residential properties.
• Replace and repair UPVC windows and doors, including locks, handles, hinges and mechanisms.
• Diagnose and service tilt‑and‑turn window systems to ensure safe operation.
• Fit new sealed units and glazing panels, and adjust UPVC fittings for smooth operation.
• Carry out remedial work such as draught‑proofing, realignment and make‑good after repairs.
• Deliver high‑quality work safely, professionally and in line with company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service while working inside residents' homes.
• Manage workload independently and complete jobs within agreed timescales.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Glazier in reactive maintenance or social housing.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and reliability.
• Good communication skills with tenants and office teams.

• Tilt‑and‑turn window system servicing.
• Sealed unit replacement.
• Use of PDA and mobile technology for job tracking.
