FIG & Fintech Investment Banking VP/Associate (London)

About the role

This position is for a senior investment banking professional to join a US‑based firm with a strong focus on FIG and Fintech M&A. Based in London, you will work on both buy‑side and sell‑side transactions, acting as the primary client liaison throughout the deal process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a range of buy‑side and sell‑side transactions from inception to completion.
• Prepare and deliver information memoranda, management presentations, and valuation analyses.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day primary contact for clients on active deals.
• Oversee valuation work, including detailed financial modelling such as DCF and LBO analysis.
• Lead marketing initiatives and business development opportunities to expand the firm’s FIG/Fintech coverage.

Required profile

• VP‑level experience on a reputable investment banking platform.
• Proven track record of completed FIG/Fintech deals, managing transactions end‑to‑end.
• Strong client focus with the ability to build effective relationships quickly.
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills for detailed financial/commercial analysis.
• Confidence and appetite to lead business development and pitching activities.
