Finance Analyst – Hybrid, £50k‑£60k, Leeds

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Finance Analyst to join a historic Leeds‑based business. The role involves turning detailed financial data into clear insight to support strategic decisions and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Produce budgets and forecasts to aid strategic decision‑making.
• Deliver detailed performance analysis and actionable financial insight.
• Interpret complex financial data and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support commercial decision‑making across the business.
• Analyse large data sets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with operational and senior leadership teams to improve performance.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the business.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Commercially focused with the ability to translate data into insight.
• Comfortable working with large and complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills to make financial information accessible.
• Proactive, analytical and keen to add value.
