Finance Business Partner – Temporary (6 months)

About the role

Our client, a growing charity in London, is seeking a Finance Business Partner on a six‑month temporary basis. You will work closely with business units to provide real‑time financial insight and support effective decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to deliver financial insight, challenge assumptions and guide decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and in‑year financial management, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable analysis for senior leaders and operational teams.
• Support business cases and project costing through robust modelling and scenario analysis.
• Oversee project accounting, maintain accurate cost tracking and ensure strong financial governance.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and drive performance‑improving actions.
• Enhance management reporting and contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes.
• Provide first‑line support on finance systems and respond to finance‑related queries across the organisation.

Required profile

• Qualified (or finalist) ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent experience.
• Available to start immediately or within one week.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, dynamic environments, preferably within the charity sector.
